Labeled Graphic

Insert and annotate images to create an interactive labeled graphic.

  1. In the Editor, double-click to edit an existing labeled graphic or use the Insert… menu to insert a new lableed graphic.
  2. Click the Browse Server button to select an image from your library. Then use the Insert button to insert a new spot.
  3. Click and drag to position the spot, and to set the optional Title and required Content fields.
  4. Click the Insert button to insert additional spots, or the Remove button to remove the selected spot.
  5. Click the green OK button at the bottom of the dialog box to save your changes.

Question Results

Report the results of a question bank (passed or failed, and score) to the LMS.

To use this feature, double-click to edit an existing question results block or use the Insert… menu to insert a new question results block. Select the Report results to the LMS option to enable reporting of a Passed or Failed completion status, and the Score for the selected questions.

LMS Bookmarking and Resume

Learners who revisit your content are prompted to resume from where they left off.

This feature is automatically enabled when exporting your project for the LMS.

Export for TinCan/xAPI

Export your projects with support for the simple and flexible TinCan/xAPI.

To export your project for the TinCan/xAPI, click the Project Settings icon Project Settings icon on the editor toolbar. Then click the Export tab and select the Include LMS support files when exporting option.

Question Reporting

Question interactions (each attempt) are automatically reported to the LMS.

This feature is automatically enabled when exporting your project for the LMS.

To export your project for the LMS, click the Project Settings icon Project Settings icon on the editor toolbar. Then click the Export tab and select the Include LMS support files when exporting option.

Question Retries

Set a maximum number of retries for a question when using the 'Display retry button' option.

  1. In the Editor, double-click to edit an existing question or use the Insert… menu to insert a new question.
  2. The Edit/Insert Question dialog appears. Select the Feedback tab.
  3. When Display retry button is enabled, use the Max retries field to set the maximum number of retries permitted.
  4. Once you have made your modifications, click the green OK button at the bottom of the dialog box to save your changes.

Animations

Attach animations to any type of content – images, panels, and more.

Slide Actions

Trigger custom actions when a Learner views or completes playback of a slide.

  1. In the Editor, click the Slide Settings icon Slide Settings icon on the toolbar.
  2. The Slide Settings dialog appears. Select the Actions tab.
  3. Choose from actions that are triggered when a Learner views a slide, or when slide playback has ended.
  4. Once you have made your modifications, click the green OK button at the bottom of the dialog box to save your changes.

Button Actions

All new navigation and playback actions for buttons.

There are new button actions available for controlling navigation, playback and LMS communication.

  1. In the Editor, double-click to edit an existing button or use the Insert… menu to insert a new button.
  2. Use the Action drop down to set the button action. For some actions, Show Popover for example, you will need to provide additional parameters.
  3. Once you have made your modifications, click the green OK button at the bottom of the dialog box to save your changes.

Show Slide Notes while Syncing

Show the slide notes in a separate window when syncing animations to voiceover.

Use the Open slide notes in a separate window option in the Sync Animations dialog.

New Themes

Try the new 'Downtown' and 'Structure' themes.

  1. In the Editor, click the Project Settings icon Project Settings icon on the toolbar.
  2. The Project Settings dialog appears. Select the Theme tab.
  3. Use the Theme drop down menu to select the desired theme.
  4. Once you have made your modifications, click the green OK button at the bottom of the dialog box. Any changes that you've made become effective immediately on your project.
